I have painted this image with photoshop over an aerial picture

First I have projected this set on the paper and I have realised the foreground phisical model in styrofoam.

I used as reference for this matte painting a stone print of the Eighteen century master of arts "Piranesi" which inspired me the colossal of ancient roman architecture.
